Move over Chocolate Easter Egg, Fudge is taking the spotlight this year
Happy Easter! Dark chocolate is rich in magnesium, and when eaten in moderation can be a great addition to your diet to boost your magnesium intake. Try our super easy Chocolate Easter Fudge recipe, for a little spin on the typical chocolate eggs this year.
Ingredients
1 can sweetened condensed milk (395g)
450 g dark (50-70%) chocolate, finely chopped
113 g unsalted butter (½ cup / 1 stick / 4oz)
½ teaspoon vanilla
¼ teaspoon sea salt (optional)
Method
1. Add the condensed milk, chocolate and butter into a medium heavy based saucepan over low heat
2. Stir until fully melted then continue to cook over low heat, stirring often until mixture thickens and bubbles just start to appear; 5-6 minutes
3. Stir in the vanilla and salt (if using), then pour into a baking tin
4. Let sit at room temperature for ½ an hour, then cover with plastic wrap and chill for 2-3 hours until firm in the fridge
